CORE sites now open at our Woodbury and Roseville Clinics

PNBC has an overriding philosophy that drives all of our CORE services. It is summed up below.
Our mission: To help our members work, play, and live their lives to the fullest by improving spinal strength and mobility, preventing injury, eliminating pain, and reducing the need for spine-related medical care.
Perhaps the most important part of this philosophy is
our commitment to helping patients manage their spinal
condition on their own without the need for recurrent medical
care. We accomplish this by using our formal rehabilitation
program to help patients optimize their spinal fitness.
We then teach every patient a comprehensive home program
designed to help them maintain their gains.
While the home program is adequate, it is the minimum
necessary to maintain gains. Many patients want more than
this. They not only want to maintain their gains, they
want to improve even more. They want access to state-of-the-art
equipment for their core muscles along with enough supervision
to have their questions answered. Moreover, they want access
to exercise at their convenience without the need for an
appointment.

Specialized Equipment, Great Workout!
The CORE workout is delivered through
a series of exercise machines specifically designed to
target, isolate, and strengthen spinal muscle groups,
and to promote and improve flexibility. PNBC’s
CORE program will utilize equipment that provides strengthening
for the low back (lumbar machine), torso (torso rotation
machine), cervical spine (4-way neck machine), abdomen
(abdominal crunch machine), lats/arms/anterior shoulders
(lat pull down machine), chest/upper back/arms (upright
rowing machine), and legs/buttocks (leg press machine).
Members are able to use these machines independently
without the aid of an operator, while stabilization pads/mechanisms
insure isolation of the targeted muscles. Additionally,
progressive flexibility exercise will be provided for seven
major muscle groups through a state-of-the-art stretching
machine unique to the CORE. Members will also be allowed
to use the cardiovascular machines and stretching area
available in our treatment area. The following chart highlights
